Drawquarium, developed by byKaleb and published by rokaplay, has a demo available on Steam right now.
Drawquarium, a game that lets you run your very own fish tank on your desktop! Not only do you look after your fish and plant life, but you can also design your very own fish and more! As you progress in the game, you will unlock additional ways to customise your aquarium decor. Sand colour, driftwood, custom lighting and a hand-drawn castle home for your fish. Your aquarium becomes a tiny living world, filled with creatures.

Features:
- Take care of your fishy creations!
- Create fish, plants, submarines and more!
- Relax and watch the fish do their thing!
- Put it over your desktop while working or studying to have the perfect distraction in those boring meetings that could have been an email!

Drawquarium is a game I have had my eye on for a while. The concept of designing your own fish, plants, and more is perfect for me. If you don’t feel like designing your own fish, though, there isn’t much to worry about, as you can use already designed templates and just edit them. You’ll soon see your aquarium bursting with life, which feels rewarding when you put the work into it.
I am always looking for games to cover here that can help mental health in some form, and I feel that Drawquarium falls under the Great Distraction category. If work has been tough, you’ve had a bad day, or you need something to just pick you up. Launching Drawquarium and spending time with all the life you have created is great. If you’re busy and want something peaceful to listen to or watch, you can put it over your desktop on your other monitor and watch them live there best lives.
I am very much looking forward to the full release when the game is ready. If you are interested in trying it out, the demo is now available on Steam, which offers quite a few features already.
