Today Techland have delayed Dying Light 2 until further notice. It was due for release in Spring 2020 but just an hour ago Techland wrote this statement.
While delays are slightly disappointing I fully support them. If a game needs fixing or polish then it needs to happen. The only thing I dislike about delays is that I personally would rather have a year or two delay then see developers, publishers and whoever else involved have to put in way to many hours to make themselves ill. If the game needs delaying for years so the developer can do what they need to do I’d prefer that then having 3 to 6 months off horrific crunch.
