You are thrown into a beautiful meadow and must breed the best rabbits you can. Taking care of them is key. This ranges from feeding them each month, buying them the best housing and upgrading everything to make sure they’re happy. From the beginning, it sounds quite complicated, because the breeding mechanics are an exact science; however, it gets easier despite its complexity due to the way it teaches you. Once you’ve completed the tutorial, you’re ready for the next chapter. You will be offered two scenarios: one gives you an array of challenges to complete, or my favourite, endless mode. In endless mode, you are free to run your rabbit breeding business with no limitations.

It’s incredible how deeply Rare Rabbits – Snuggle Haven goes into the breeding mechanics, from the dominant-recessive inheritance, co-dominant traits, etc it is so interesting. Those looking for an educational yet fun experience will be thrilled. I have already learnt a lot by progressing my rabbit breeding business. You are also provided with a book that explains everything about breeding and genetics. I did end up with quite an expensive rabbit, but I couldn’t let go. I didn’t like selling my rabbits; I got too attached!

Overall, I enjoyed my time with Rare Rabbits – Snuggle Haven. It is relaxing just watching the bunnies go about their daily lives, but it becomes so engaging the deeper you dive into its mechanics. If you’re looking for a slow game that respects your time, then this is the one for you.
