ASTROBOTANICA, an open-world survival crafter developed and published by Space Goblin Studio, is out now in early access on Steam. HERE

ASTROBOTANICA is a science-driven survival game with a relaxing vibe. As an alien botanist, players will participate in farming, base building, crafting, animal taming, puzzle-solving and exploration on a prehistoric Earth.

To survive, knowing alien botany is essential; learn how to grow and process Earth’s unfamiliar flora into food and medicine. Experimentation, adaptation, and research will be key to identifying plant species that could thrive at home. In your mission, you’ll meet Neanderthals who are curious but timid. You can learn to communicate with them, earn their trust and cure their ailments using the knowledge learnt along the way. In return, they might provide rewards to aid the overall mission.

Exploration is key in ASTROBOTANICA. Make your way through a beautiful and untamed planet. There’s always something new to discover if you look closely. But stay alert! The local fauna is as cute as it is dangerous, while invariably hungry.

Features:

  • Experiment with plants to create needed resources
  • Obtain and maintain a sustainable CO₂ supply
  • Explore prehistoric ecosystems and discover extinct animals
  • Form alliances with Neanderthals through communication and trading
  • Level up using the P.R.I.M.A.L. skill system to shape your playstyle

I love a good survival crafter, ASTROBOTANICA looks right up my street. Exploring a prehistoric Earth with a comedic edge sounds like a combination that promises a good time. You can find ASTROBOTANICA on the Steam Store HERE.
