It has been announced today that 2K Games has opened a new studio Cloud Chamber Studios which has been made up of several developers from the original titles and its sequels.

The team is lead by Kelley Gilmore who has worked on Sid Meier’s Civilization and the X-Com series and has been given the title of the first woman in 2K history to lead a development studio. The team have announced that development will span the next few years so hopefully we will see it on the PlayStation 5 and the next Xbox console in the coming years. No more details were shared about the games themes or what it will be about but at least a new Bioshock game is coming.
