Frontier has announced that the Planet Zoo Beta will take place between the 24th of September until the 8th of October. You can view the brand new game-play trailer below:
In Planet Zoo players can expect a narrative-driven career mode in which players will be introduced to a colourful range of characters in a globe trotting campaign that places you in-charge of zoo’s around the world. The beta will let players experience the first scenario which introduces players to the zoo management and lets you experience a handful of animals from the full game including not-yet revealed animals.
For players who prefer a sandbox experience you’ll be able to manage your own zoo, build it, research and develop it to expand and much more. If that’s not enough for you, players can also trade animals via animal exchange to increase genetic diversity and wellbeing in their zoo. Franchise mode is a mode that will have players face daily and weekly challenges and community goals to beat Planet Zoo’s shared objectives.
If you’re at Gamescom this week you can go and experience the career mode and sandbox mode in Hall 7 at the Koelnmesse Hall. Planet Zoo launches on Steam November 5th 2019. If you want access to the BETA you can pre-order the Deluxe Edition for £42.99. If you want the standard edition without BETA access, it will cost £34.99.
