Jagex are proud to announce the Archaeology update a new skill that players will be able to take on in RuneScape and boast that it is the most powerful skill in-game. Below is a trailer that shows of the brand new skill in a live action film.
The new skill has a level cap of 120 and is available to members and free players as soon as it launches March 30th. Players will get to gather up artefacts and restore them which will then possibly lead to new powerful perks that will aid you on your adventure. Players will also discover ancient training methods for other skills.

“Archaeology is so much more than a skill – every dig site will tell a story, which will bring multiple new areas and significant new ways to play RuneScape when it drops in-game on March 30th. As players empower relics, uncover artefacts and improve their Archaeology abilities, secrets of a future story arc will unfold. We can’t wait to begin revealing more of the mystery surrounding Archaeology over the months to come.”
