Overkill’s The Walking Dead had a very rocky launch and life on PC. Twitch streamers and YouTube had the chance to show the game off and there was even a live event for the launch. Sadly though the game seemed unfinished, full of broken promises and broken. Skybound the owners of The Walking Dead franchise as a whole has ripped up the contract and ended support for Starbreeze and The Walking Dead game due to them feeling that Starbreeze didn’t meet what was promised. Below is a statement from Skybound.
“We are deeply sorry for the issues this may cause anyone who has bought the game looking forward to the resolution of Season 2 and are working urgently to attempt to resolve the issue. Please keep an eye on the official OTWD channels for further news,” said Mikael Nermark, Acting CEO Starbreeze.
