Well, I never expected one of my all time favourite series I spent most of my childhood hooked on would ever be announced on the Nintendo Switch. That’s right, Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight 3 Jedi Acadamy has been announced to release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast puts you in the shoes of Kyle Katarn, a man who has given up being a Jedi after almost succumbing to the Dark Side and wants to lead a neutral life without the force. Not all goes to plan though. Luke Skywalker sends you on a mission to hunt down a rouge Jedi who has killed a fellow student and on the way Kyle starts using the force again to hunt down the enemy. On this path you are met with many characters on the journey and familiar settings, vehicles, weapons and more.

Players of a new generation will get to experience the best Lightsaber combat in any Star Wars game ever. I remember spending years online duelling with friends and perfecting the styles. Sadly though this is only the single-player experience but it still is an amazing one at that.
You’ll be able to pick this up on September 24th 2019. If you love Star Wars, you’ll love this. I truly hope this leads to another game in the Jedi Knight series.
