The House of Tesla: Definitive Edition, developed and published by Blue Brain Games, is available on Steam now.

Explore the eerie abandoned halls of Tesla’s Wardenclyffe facility and uncover the story behind one of the greatest unfinished innovations. Nikola Tesla’s ambitious vision of wireless electricity transmission. While exploring the facility, you will come across handcrafted puzzles, hauntingly beautiful locations and challenges that will test your skills.

Through Nikola Tesla’s eyes, you will witness important moments in his life that led to the construction and, later, the fall of the famous Wardenclyffe Tower. As you explore the tower, you will unravel a mystery that leaves you stranded among the deserted machines.

Features:

  • Fresh locations based on real places and plans of the enigmatic Nikola Tesla
  • Mysterious story from our take on the Progressive Era America
  • New dynamic approach to storytelling using flashbacks into the past
  • Use a device that allows you to see and influence the flow of electricity
  • New handcrafted puzzles to challenge yourself

Players who love puzzle games will love The House of Tesla: Definitive Edition. Exploring the facility was very rewarding, mostly because of interacting with the environment. Although puzzle games aren’t my usual go-to, they are all quite inventive with different difficulties. All of the puzzles are based on Nikola Tesla’s inventions, which you’ll also learn about while using them. There is a spike in difficulty with some of them, I found, but luckily, instead of the game stopping you in your tracks, there is a skip button.

Restoring Wardenclyffe Tower was a joy. I love exploring games that reward your curiosity, not only that, but it looks fantastic, dark and eerie, and with a real attention to detail historically. The halls are beautiful and well-designed. I got lost within its environments, wishing I were able to experience it in virtual reality as well. Overall, if you’re looking for a puzzle game steeped in history that throws you some challenges, The House of Tesla: Definitive Edition is the one for you. The exploration alone is worth a visit to Wardenclyffe Tower.
