Each month at Nerdy Bird Games, we will spotlight content creators. This time, we’re highlighting NinjaGuy VR, a content creator from Canada who is passionate about Virtual Reality and is trying to bring more attention to the space in every video he makes. Ninja also keeps us up to date with the latest news drops in VR while also sharing his opinions. Below is one of his videos reviewing Arizona Sunshine 2, a fantastic VR game that is full to the brim with humour and zombies.

The funny thing about how I became a content creator is that it all started with frustration. When I saw how bad the coverage was for a game called PixelJunk Raiders on Google Stadia, I felt like I needed to jump in and show what the game really had to offer. After Stadia’s closure, I experimented with a few different things, but VR was where I felt I fit best. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of people who helped me grow into the creator I am today. That’s why I love doing reviews, developer interviews, and first looks.

NinjaGuy VR is someone I’ve known personally for a while, and the enthusiasm he brings to the platform is fresh and wonderful. In the virtual reality space, it can sometimes be challenging to release an indie game. I love how NinjaGuy VR does his best to shine a light on these wonderfully made titles that sometimes don’t get the attention they truly deserve. NinjaGuy also helps run a community with people who are all video game enthusiasts and content creators, and it’s great to see his presence in these spaces. I personally met NinjaGuy on a server I used to run for work, and I always enjoyed talking to him. His enthusiasm for Google Stadia at the time was a joy to listen to. It’s incredible to see his transition to the VR space, and I’m looking forward to seeing the work he does in the future.

I’m a gamer at heart, I love anything gaming. VR pushes this hobby on a whole different level, that’s why I enjoy it so much.

In life, things can hit us quite significantly out of nowhere, and we believe at Nerdy Bird Games that gaming can be good for distraction and escaping reality. We asked Ninja what game he uses to escape, and he said that when he had gone through struggles, the game Calico helped him through that time. Like us, he also believes that gaming has a special place in life and wants to use his platform to show that.
