Game Developer Krish Shrikumar who was behind Playne and Inward has announced his new venture, Maya’s Dream.

You must take on the role of Maya, an 85-year-old woman living in an automated care facility in the future. Most of Maya’s memories have faded into the past, and what she wishes for the most is to remember her life again. A heartfelt journey that can be relatable for many who have seen loved ones lose memories due to alzheimer’s and dementia.

  • Match patterns and slot in pieces in the correct position to reveal parts of her dream
  • Reimagination of Jigsaw-style games, but with story
  • Collect polaroids of all of Maya’s most meaningful dreams
  • Collect ‘Special Pieces’ to uncover pictures of the most important people in Maya’s life
  • Connect pieces without any mistakes to create combos

To lose our memory would be to lose ourselves and although Maya’s isn’t real, she is a reflection of our need to create meaningful memories, and an appreciation of those who have lost theirs.”
